PS3 Themes

Installing from a PC/Mac

Installing from PC or Mac is an easy process but requires certain things.

Requirements

PlayStation®3

USB device or Memory Card*

PC or Mac

* Only some PlayStation®3 models support memory cards. If your PlayStation®3 does not support memory cards, you will need a memory card to USB convert.

Instructions

1. Find the theme you like
2. Click the download icon
   Make sure you save it rather than open it.
3. Plug your USB or memory card in your computer.
4. Set up the folders (this can be skipped if they already exist)
   1. Create a folder with in the main directory called "PS3" (without the quotes)
   2. Within that folder, create a folder called "THEME" (withoutthe quotes)
      
      Please note: these names are case sensitive and must be all in capitals.
5. Copy the theme into the THEME folder
   The structure of the USB or memory card will look like D:\PS3\THEME\downloadedThemeFile.p3t where D: is the drive letter, or in Mac or Linux mount folder of the drive
6. Unplug your USB or memory card, and plug it in to your PlayStation®3.
7. Switch on your PlayStation®3 if you have not done so yet, and go to Settings
8. Go to Theme Settings
9. Press X on Theme
10. Press X on Install
11. Select your device
12. Select your theme
